Registering for this forum - Suggestions for improvements

Hi,

I just registered for this forum and have a few improvement suggestions. I hope this is the right thread.

When selecting a password it should be mentioned that it has to be a minimum of 8 characters on the actual page where you select your password and not after you submit the page. I am not a great fan of a "password police" in the first place - but if you must dictate this then atleast inform about it on the signup page.

I ended up having to go back and select another password. In doing this I scrolled down to the bottom and could actually not submit the form as the "Register" button was disabled. It has a disable feature to make sure that you click the "I have read the license agreement" - that checkbox was however already checked (but the page had not registered this as I had gone "back" to the page). The only way I could sign up was to uncheck the checkbox and then check it again. This way the "Register" button became active again.

The only reason I knew how to do this is probably because I am a developer myself, I would suspect that many users would simply give up registering.

I like this forum though and the site is very nice!
