Internal Server Error

Hi all. I was trying to make my url's search engine friendly and changed my htaccess.txt to .htaccess like it says to. now I get this error msg

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@ and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.



I can't log into my account or anything I changed the file back but still no luck any ideas on how i can fix this.
