How to revive an abandoned project?

Hi,

I would like to revive the ANJEL project.

The name is taken but nothing is there.

I have the last two releases, and a beta that was never released. The code is GPL.

Any suggestions of what to do next?

That is a good one, it never got relisted after we changed from Forge to Jcode. There's no SVN repository any more. What I'd suggest is the following:

* I can give you the email address of the developer, and you can ask if you can take over the project. If this is no problem, I'll give you access to the project.
* If there is no reply, I can give you the code, rebrand and open a new project on jcode (or for yourself).

How does that sound?
