extension review not posted

I posted a review for rsform and it didn't show up.  Does it not post automatically or does it have to be approved?  I really like the extension and I thought it deserves the review.

You are right, the submitted reviews are not being automatically posted.
All reviews are being manually approved, to ensure that all the support requests, bug reports, rants and comments are sorted out.

I also posted a review - several days ago - about Avatar Gallery, simply stating I did not believe it was worth the price, being per installation instead of a one-time price.

If a review is rejected, the poster should be notified of such and the reason and allowed a re-worded review.

I wonder sometimes if favorite developers have negative reviews rejected or removed.

They are.  Remember as was posted above, all reviews are manually reviewed.  It may take some time.  Also make sure the email address you have used is a valid and correct email address, if it not, you will not get the notification.

Since I started this thread.... my review just got approved.  After I saw the original answer that they are manual approved I figured it would take some time (remember people are doing this on their free time).

Thanks for all the hard work on Joomla.  I'm very glad I found Joomla
