Joomla as Student Information System (SIS) Topic is solved

Sorry if this is posted somewhere and I couldn't find it, but are any schools using Joomla to create/maintain their student information systems? Any links to examples? I have an online real estate school and am looking to implement a new way to track our students information. I use Moodle to deliver the majority of my classes online and Joomla seemed like a possibility for integration. Is there a component created for Joomla already that I could purchase that is designed for schools? I've seen CRM extensions which I guess could be tweaked, but I haven't run across anything specific to a school SIS.

If you are looking for a student information system, you may want to take a look at Centre. It is open-source, php/postgresql. http://www.miller-group.net/index.php

Centre is not Joomla-based, though their business web site is running Joomla.

Actually, we are using Focus/SIS, which is also open-source and integrates directly with Moodle.
