Literature!

Post by waitz » Thu Feb 07, 2008 9:38 pm

I have just read the very good Joomla! books "Beginning Joomla!: From Novice to Professional (Beginning from Novice to Professional)" and "Joomla! Template Design: Create your own professional-quality templates with this fast, friendly guide"

I am about to do a total remake of a website and will install and setup Joomla! for the first time for it, and I was super excited about the books. (although I was slightly disappointed that it was not until I opened the Template Design book I could see that it is written for Joomla! 1.08 and not 1.5)

Both of the books also touches some general tips about how a website should be build (like how to optimize code for xhtml and search engines etc) and I realized that it could be a good idea to have a new book about general tips for building websites - what to take care of, what to avoid and which conventions that works... Can anyone recommend such a book?

Thanks for any answer.

Check amazon.com.  The book with the blue cover is pretty decent.
