Joomla.org Lacks Proper Extensions Management

I request to Administrators of Joomla.org to properly manage the extensions. So that users can easily find the new and updated extensions quickly and easily.
All extensions must be categorised and properly searchable by following criterions
Extensions for Joomla 1.5.X without Legacy Mode
Extensions for Joomla 1.5.x with Legacy Mode
Extensions for Joomla 1.0.x

An "Updated Extensions" Box Just like "New Extensions" Box

Must be searchable According to
Date of Submission and Updates
Multiple License selection in advance search option
Multiple Extension Type Selection in advance search option
Major Categories selection in advance search option

I hope you will add these features to your site soooooooon

Welcome to Joomla!

Thanks for your comments and suggestions. A long awaited update of the Extensions Directory is on it's way. You will be able to determinate if the extensions are compatible with 1.0.x, 1.5 legacy or 1.5 native when everything is finished. You will also be able to search on compability.

About your other suggestions, I'll take up them to the team and discuss how next upgrade will look. The important now is that we can launch the planned upgrade.

Do you think you can set your link in your signature line (you find it in your profile settngs) instead to write it manually? This since we have this rule. Thanks!
