New Forum Many Errors

While it seems faster than the SMF forum, the new forum has a lot of errors and timeouts, including the one I receive when clicking the notification link.

Why not be patient and wait for the administrators to finish tinkering? This is all brand new software, so just wait and see what fixes they have and what goodies they may have in store for us!

Why assume anything other than patience? The admins may never know if it is never brought to their attention, and since there appears to be no other forum category to address such issues, I figured this might very well be a good place to post feedback pertaining to the forum in order to assist the admins in rectifying any remaining bugs.

In the past, the admins have provided thorough communications during and often prior to such changes. I found it out of character to not have posted any references to these changes and assumed I had overlooked it in my search.

I've been reading for several hours and am exhasuted. I know I had read about these problems before, but must have been in a chat room or something else.

The complaints have been seen. Most likely if you got that sql error, everyone was getting it. We know about it. There really is no need to keep starting new threads to complain over and over again.

There was data deleted from within posts as well. Anything that looks like code is gone.

This is the first thread I've seen on the subject of the forum changeover.

Yes, there is content missing. Very few pages linked in from Google redirect. The search function is very limited, as in only the ability to search specific categories. It's tough enough to navigate as it is.

Overall, it's a real pain in the buttocks.

To be totally honest, I am tired and have not got enough sleep. I've been doing my bet to address issues, but I know some still remain. Hopefully when some of the other admins are around this weekend more progress can be made.
