Allow only certain email addresses to register?

Is it possible to block someone registering unless they have a certain email? For example, could I only accept registrations from someone who has an email address ending in "@gmail.com"?

I don't think it would be very hard, a line or two of code to the registration page or something? I just have no idea at all.
