Replacing .JPG Banner with a Flash banner.

Post by robbie1 » Mon Feb 18, 2008 1:34 pm

I am trying to insert a flash banner on a site I am working on. The template isn't a flash template, but I want to insert a Flash Banner into the same area as the .jpg banner.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

Thanks,

Robbie

Rob,

The template doesn't have to be a flash template to install flash elements. I'm assuming the banner display is a module. If it's not, you can install a banner module that would allow you to do this.

You can find a whole slew of banner ad modules for Joomla here:
http://extensions.joomla.org/component/ ... Itemid,35/

Many of them display flash and jpg banners.

If you do currenly have a banner module that you are using, you can just replace the location with the new one. Otherwise you're just adding the new module to the location you choose.

Hope that helps.
If you're not a part of the solution, you're a part of the problem.
