Searching old (pre-phpbb3) posts?

Have the migrated posts been correctly indexed? When I search in the forums, the results only appear to include posts from the last few days.

Not as yet.

To index posts, I'm going to need to take the forum offline. However, I'm investigating the use of an external search index (Sphinx) which may be a better solution all round.

I'm going as fast as I can.. thanks for your patience.

Sort of the same line ....

The old threads that are indexed with Goggle etc, point to where it was pre phpBB3. When you go to those pages, it is really badly laid out, text only type of thing that makes it difficult to go through. How are you handling that issue?

Just thought I would ask and hadn't found it mentioned anywhere yet, though could of missed it.
