Is it just me or does the search function on this forum not work?
I keep getting no results when I search for things. For example if I type in SEO in the search box I get no results. I can see for myself that there is a topic with SEO in the title on the first page, and there must be hundreds of references to SEO throughout the forum.
So why are there no results?

Hi,
Search is being worked on, there are some things left from the migration that still needs to be solved.
Moving from 1.5 General > S&I Forum

The board soft is configured not to search for anything below 4 chars ...
You must specify at least one word to search for. Each word must consist of at least 4 characters and must not contain more than 84 characters excluding wildcards.
search uti -> nil
search util -> hundreds of hits
If you need "SEO" you can use "SEO*" which should not throw too much junk
(The above error is thrown only for "SE**" for example, but unfortunately not for simply using too few chars)

Is there a way to search the entire forum?
Is there a way to search the entire forum?
Maybe I am missing something, but it appears as though the search function is only available on each individual board. If so, that greatly diminishes the value of the search - which would present a setback to the success of the entire project. The ability to get answers in the forums is certainly one of the reasons that Joomla is so successful.
Please let me know if there is a way to search the entire forum - or else please revise the search functionality to be inclusive of the entire forum.
Thanks!

Re: Search this forum doesn't work
The google search up the top is the best we have now. Soon, within days, we will have the full forum search via phpbb3 setup again though.
