Right now, Joomla! is participating in the Google Highly Open Participation Contest. Pre-University students with AMAZING skill are taking tasks and helping the community.
One task is to help build a Joomla! v 1.5 website. At this point, the student would have about two weeks, maybe not even quite that, to assemble a simple site.
If you are interested in having a student help you with your Georgian organization CPA (Chess Peace Embassy) website, please post back here right away.
Thanks!
Amy

Hello.
I am hoping the program is still going.
I have built websites, but not with joomla, I am still learning about it. (I use html - yucky...)
But, we have a non-profit organization, current boring website is at: reboot4u.org
and we need help!!! We are only six months old and are low, low budgeted.
I have installed joomla through our godaddy hosting, and I suppose I will only need to give someone a username and password to have them help us build a site. I have much more documentation about our organization and can forward that to whomever can help us.
Is the program with the students helping non-profits build websites still in effect?
We sure would love to have some help!
Please let me know!
Thanks!
Christina
