How long should it take to get a new extension approved?

I was curious how long the normal process is to get extensions approved? I know in the past it was pretty quick but I didn't know if the volumes have increased and caused more of a delay. I submitted a new extension (AxtaWeb Backup Service) earlier today and hadn't seen it show up yet which is what prompted the question.

It all depends on that load the editors are under. Allow a few days and I think you will be fine.

We try to approve new extensions as soon as possible. We try to do it on daily basis if it's possible. Sometimes we encounter some problems with some extensions or that we need to discuss the submitted extension within the team. I have emailed you a status update about your extension.
