Joomla Day in Byron Bay, Austalia - May 11 2008
A joomla day is in the works for Byron Bay in 2008. We have contacted Brad Baker and Andrew Eddie and hope to have a date firmed up soon. Joining Andrew and Brad will be a list of other enthusiastic and internationally experienced communicators including Yossi Ghinsberg ghinsberg.com and Sagaro from Lightforce Computers, Byron's Apple Mac Legend.
The event will take place at Bush Branding & Marketings studio in the Byron Bay Arts and Industry Estate with a maximum of 50 participants.
Please register your interest quickly as we anticipate a sold out event. There will be a small fee at the door with profits from the event being donated back into the open source community.

Wow, good news Greg.
If you'd like to promote your event on joomladay.org.au you'd be most welcome.

Dear Greg,
May I ask you to work together with Dinah on this one. She organizes already Melbourne and Sydney in Australia. There is also an event planed for Perth. I think it is good if you can coordinate the events a bit all together.
Could you two also please get in touch with me if you have some more information.
Many thanks
Alex

Re: Joomla Day in Byron Bay, Austalia - May 11 2008
We have a date Sunday May 11 2008 and our Headliners Brad Baker and Andrew Eddie are confirmed. Byron Bay Joomla day will start at 1 pm and finish at 5 pm. There are plenty of other acts to be confirmed...it's going to be a open source Blues Fest. Stay tuned.
News Flash.http://scarlettaffection.com/ are confirmed as Joomla recruits and will be redeveloping their site soon on Joomla. We can't wait for them to sing the praises of their joomla journey.

Hey, this is great.
I've been to Melbourne one this year and can't wait for Byron one.
I got few topics I can give presentation on as we are currently converting Joomla for Oracle.
Who should I speak to about that?
Thanks
