Skype FAQ
Anyone interested in contributing a short Skpe faq, we're definitely in need of some instructional information that we will sticky when it's complete.
If you're not a part of the solution, you're a part of the problem.

Here's what we have for instructions on the Wiki.

Re: Skype FAQ
Not so young, actually! But, thank you for your kind words! I was pleased to see that v 1.0.13 fixed your ItemID issues.

Re: Skype FAQ
Tim -
I "left" the J!101 chat and now can't get back in. I also suggested to Vivek this could be a good resource to learn.
Is it possible to change the group membership rules so it doesn't require approval?
Thanks!
Amy

Re: Skype FAQ
Let me see what I can do. I think that's possible. I'll take a look and see.
Skype hasn't been behaving on y 64bit vista system, so I haven't had much time to play with it.
I'll keep you posted.

Re: Skype FAQ
i had instaled the last skype version (3.6) but every time i try to join this group it tells me:
Houston, we have a problem
You cannot join the chat, because you either don’t have Skype or need to upgrade to the latest version.
I tryed with my skype opened and loged, same problem...
i tryed to login and access the link, and the same problem......
this chat group still on? how can i join?

Re: Skype FAQ
Not sure about that. I'm using 3.5 myself; haven't tried the new version. Why don't you send me your Skype info and I'll add you as a contact, and then see if I can invite you to the group.
It hasn't been very active as of late that I know of. We did have some initial group work going with installing Eclipse and trying to find a decent online group meetting software package, but no FOSS seemed to fit he bill. We were also waiting for J!Code (plug-in for Ecliplse IDE), which was also delayed. Not sure where that is at this point either.
I keep meaning to see if we can revive things a bit, but my own work has left me little time to do much of what I'd like to be doing. Hopefuly that will change.
In the meantime, get me the info and we'll see what we can do.

Thanks all.

Re: Skype FAQ
I'm guessing the link didn't make it through the conversion when we moved to phpbb3. Not sure what the link is myself, but I'll see if I can find out.
