How is Joomla preparing for IE8?

I kno internet explorer 8 was released a few weeks ago and its main purpose is for web coders to prepare and update their sites to work on IE8.

Is joomla preparing for IE8 final release, so everyone can update thier joomlas to work with IE8?

http://www.joomlacode.org should work fine with IE8. In any case, we'll probably get to updating the template on there soon and ensure that all the most well used browsers can access.
