List extensions by version

Is it all possible to list the extensions by version type. I don't mean each update to a version but just the two distinct versions currently available 1.0.x and 1.5x series. It would make searching through extensions for the correct type for either version of Joomla much easier. Is it possible to build a select query to add or something.

Whilst writing this I get the feeling I may have already posted the question, Hm.. seniltiy creeping in here Oh.. well

I also use the advanced search for finding 1.5 native extentions, but instead i'd prefer to navigate a "1.5 native" tree.

Its hard to get a bird-eye view of the alternatives without.
Its simply not possible to view a tree category with 1.5-only items. A huge miss to lift 1.5 adoption.

Even better, the changes made to the JED today will make the version apparent from almost every view!
