Lifestyle4Peace.org, Loretto.at, Assign item to 2+ categories, Podcast needed

http:www.lifestyle4peace.org

This site is still powered by Mambo 4.5.2 and will be updated to joomla soon.

I had a hard time organizing the information becouse i wanted to add most of the Content items to more than one category and i did not manage to do so.

About the Project:
We are the Young People for unity of the Focolare Movement.
We belong to different races, and cultures, speak different languages and are scattered in 182 countries. Among us there are Christians, Hebrews, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, Sikhs, Zoroastrians.

Our aim? Spread a new lifestyle in the world: reciprocal love.  :-*

Just like in a big family, where the one who has more than enough shares with the one who has less, we are part of a new culture: the culture of giving and it's this giving that makes us really free and happy.

The next Lifestyle4Peace Highlight ist the Run4Unity, where Joung People from all over the world organize running events for a social couse on the 9. october 2005. This Run "around the Globe" is a symbol for the love that can unite the world and bring prace. 8)

The site is about a young catholic community in austria, named loretto.

This site is still powered by Mambo 4.5.1 and uses a lot of hacks. It will be updated to joomla on a naxt Version when i can ged rid of/Reproduce the hacks.

1) Changed the output code for the blog sections
2) Made the Related items Module to look only in specific sections/categories for relations
3) Made a Module to show the image and description of all categories in a Section. (this "list view" looks the same as a blog page now)
4) For this i have no hack at the time and are hoping in future versions of the CMS: I had a hard time organizing the information becouse i wanted to add most of the Content items to more than one category and i did not manage to do so :(. I hope this will be a feature of joomla soon  :D :D :D

This is what i miss in Mambo/Joomla:
1) the ability to change all the html output in the content components and modules. This would be "Templating" in my understanding.
2) Assign item to 2+ categories. PPPPPPLLLLLEEEEAAASSSEEEEEEE!  :'( :'( :'(
3) Rights management: Build my own groups, assign them Rights for specific Areas, Assign each user to one ore more groups.
4) a multilevel Tree structure in the backend and ability to make the menu reflect this tree, Each node contains nodes and items.8)8)8)

In the near future i would like to publish podcasts but have no idea what is needed. Would be great if some expert would make a component for this.

I am not a Programmer. Had some skilled professionals to do the Coding work. The one thing i can contribute is the ideas how to make it still better.
Thanks to the Comunity for making this possible!
Michael
