I tried searching for
1; "joomlaboard discuss bot"
2; "discuss bot"
3; "joomlaboard"
and result was always 0, nothing, nada..? Is that normal?
(ot: anyone knows where that bot is for J! 1.04? )

I think if you use the search quickbox that is on every forum page it will only search in the section you're currently in.
Have you tried clicking on the search button:

No, sorry I don't have any idea of how they each work; have not used them.
As I have been working on the CMM list, I have gotten in the habit of downloading things.
More than once I cannot find something again so the files may hold a clue to the source.
