Joomla!/Mambo Relationship
Joomla!/Mambo Relationship
If the core team bios shown here were updated to have more clarification regarding prior relationships to Mambo, then maybe one more bit of noise as stated in Reply #3 here would subside!

Re: Joomla!/Mambo Relationship
You are correct HarryB, the word Mambo appears a little too often in those bios, especially as it is commonly used as *ambo or $ambo or other variations on the forums..

Re: Joomla!/Mambo Relationship
I stand to be correct, but I don't believe that any of the core team refer to Mambo as $ambo or *ambo.
We are proud of what we did with Mambo, and now we are doing the same with Joomla. That being said, you are correct some of those bio's can be updated to reflect the current work we are all doing with Joomla. Something else we can put on our to-do list

Re: Joomla!/Mambo Relationship
I don't believe any Core use those variations either, neither do I, same codebase, nothing to denigrate, it's just not current anymore, for lack of a better word..
If I can do anything to take care of any item on that ever growing list (I guess), just let me know..
