Joomla news submittion

Does anyone know what news submittion component the jooml.org uses
because it looks to me it is not the one built in because the urls look like this http://www.joomla.org/content/blogcategory/21/36/
where in my joomla the content submition link looks different
plus to this they have custom fields in the content submittion form

I would really appriciate it if someone could tell me if there is already a hack to put custom fields  in content in or not
