1.0.5 to 1.0.7 No tar.gz files - Have I missed an announcement

Hi fellow Joomla users,

I am wanting to upgrade my web site from v1.0.5 to v1.0.7 and went to the download site and found only .zip files. Last time I upgraded (v1.0.4 to v1.0.5) I was able to down load a .tar.gz. Have I missed an announcement that tar.gz files are not now going to be provided?

I have tried to work out how to make use of the.zip upgrade files at my ISP by reading the manual pages for tar & gunzip, but when I tried to use either of these I got an error message. I also found reference to an unzip command but it is not available on my ISP's system.

Have I missed an option in the administration interface whereby patches can be uploaded through it.

Your help will be much appreciated.

These files were not there because of the fast patch to 1.0.7. There are not here yet, but they should be there in the end.

That is why I moved it to this forum, Brad will read this and will hopefully have an answer as to the why and when.

Due to technical difficulties 1.0.7 Packages are currently available only in zip format.
Once our technical problems have been resolved packages will be available in tar and bzip2 formats

I hope to have them up within the hour
