Since we have this new forum people tend to get overenthusiastic. They start replying without properly reading the question. Past week I've seen many replies that don't give an answer to the actual post. People have a look, recognise some words and suggest a solution to a problem they had themselves or they think that is the question.
This forum will be useless unless people start reading properly before replying.
Thanks, Tom
Please read the question
Re: Please read the question
Hi,
As far as I'm concerned, people can never be to enthusiastic, but you are correct TomT. A good way to start is read the question carefully, especially if it involves a problem. All the problems and answers are building our knowledge base for all other users that might be looking for answers. So please read carefully, reply on the topic itself (and stay on topic), and try to do so as clear as possible.
And of course, read the Rules: http://forum.opensourcematters.org/index.php/topic,65.0.html
