Extensions manager

I am writing a component named Extensions manager.

This component manage a extensions repository and will be able to store components, modules, mambots, template, languages.

This component, integrated in the administration site, will be able:
- to find extensions by category or by keyword;
- to install/upgrade/uninstall extensions;
- to verify if exists updates of the installed extensions.

Now. This component is very similar to Joomla Extensions Directory but it has the advantage to manage extensions integrated with the administration site.

We can make something in order to join the potentialities of the two instruments?

We get a lot of interesting suggestions and ideas from the users of the Extensions Directory.
All input will be collected and discussed within the team, and some ideas might even be included in future versions of the Extensions Directory.
