I believe this is a bug in the current RC2 of SMF, though I am not sure. If a search word can't be found, the ' Query isn't specific enough' is also visible.

Thanks Tonie. I did google smf rc2 search bug but didn't come up with anything. It still sounds like a reasonable explanation for that problem. I've complained of other issues with the search as well though I won't bring them up here as I already posted about it.
