New Logo

I am so encouraged by looking at the response in this thread. At some corner in my mind, I had my own doubts...but I have now made up my mind...

It is going to be "Joomla"...that I would like to be associated with.

Can we may be create a picture gallery of all the logo proposals and may be set up a voting for each of them or may be for some chosen ones?

great designs, I have a couple of  comments on two, though

As I initially said yesterday the Hand design looks a lot like a Kokopelli (google it)

The design that looks like an X with a head in the top center position, no matter what angle you see it from, it looks exactly like the logo of Cingular ( a cellphone provider in USA)
It even has the orange color going on.

Well.
The Kokopelli would actually make a great logo or at least inspiration for one.
Except it is american not african, but that may not really matter as the style of 1500 year old american and african art has a lot of similarities.

THE LOGO on top left of the pic is nice, but wording may be altered.... I like the logo... togetherness!

I guess my logo could be an animated gif that the eyebrows (which is the m of the joomla!) could be moved up and down.  As I am not an expert in GIMP, this is just a try.

here i might aswell just submit my idea, in  picture form, for now it is black and white as it is the shape. Possibly adding colour to palm trees and add a water between the slogan and brown to the coconut would make look better.

anyway i hope you like the idea....
