Feature matrix would be a big help!

Some categories have a bunch of alternatives -- forum components, for example -- that are each complex.  It's hard to know which to choose, especially because it may be difficult or impossible to track down feature lists for them.

It would be a huge help if the extensions site had a feature matrix feature -- like this:

(Of course, as that site reveals, there isn't a matrix component for Joomla... maybe one could be ported...)

I totally agree and would be willing to help coordinate the collection and display of this information at the Extensions Directory. You can see a Joomla-related feature comparison chart that I helped create for media galleries here:
