Split from: Notify and quotes

Mod note, thread split from: http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/topic,61881.0.html

brian wrote:It was not a swipe at the moderators, sorry you saw it that way.

Brad and others on the core team tend to see things within a poorly educated perspective and self serving position many times. Being we are no longer members of any of the teams, we learn that anything we have to say just might spark ignorant behavior or a thread closure. Either way, you have to admit, the team is arrogant as you witness in this thread. I certainly didn't see where a swipe was made by Brian and I certainly think Brad owes Brian an apology. Get off your high horse Brad.

Feel free to attack me, but I really don't think attacking others on the core team who you have no experience with is fair. Only I have participated in this thread, so claiming the team is arrogant is just not fair to the others. ;)

Surely instead of closing the thread you should be moving the posts that are off topic elsewhere. This thread should be about notify and quotes and just because it may be hijaaked does not mean that it should be closed

That's it. Split the thread. Now surely what has been said will make sense. Of course you will agree that it does not.  I'm done. That's what you hoped for. But to believe it was for the betterment of the community just as the resignations from the teams by those that care about the software is simply and inherently wrong. I didn't hijack the thread either Brian, the core team has hijacked the community and it's willingness to give to it.

That's it for me. I've made all the statements I need to make. I've said what I have to say. I've wrote both Andrew and Brad to state what I see and say about my view of the direction Joomla is headed. I will say no more. I'll give no more reason for anyone to close or split my threads.

Now you can carry on making looks to the world the achievement of your lifetimes. Take care.
