I think the people who take the time to weed through the mountain of spam to approve comments posted on the dev blog, are doing their best, and are also sometimes not native English speakers. However if you can link to a particular post, I'd be happy to try to correct the grammar for you.

Sorry you misunderstood me. I did not refer to any of the comments but to the system message that is displayed when you post a comment.

Oh lol...

Ok, let me pass this on to Marko the great integration king. Perhaps you can give us the 'better grammar' version so we can use...

I would never dream of correcting a posters grammar or spelling. Mine is attrociuos enough as it is.

As for the actual message I dont remember exactly what is says but iirc there is probably a missing word towards the end of the sentance.

I could of course make a spam post in the blog to see the system message again but you wouldnt appreciate that ;)

Will check it.
The "Humor, Fun and Games" forum has  more than 2500 Posts, so why not build a "Humor, Fun and Games Working" Group?

[me=amy]waits for the day Brian uses the one from SMF; wonders why he thinks one in Joomla! would be helpful?[/me]

@Brian -

I realize that this is like taking candy from a baby, here, but this morning I am weak.

attrociuos = atrocious
dont = don't
iirc = ? no idea ?
sentance = sentence
wouldnt = wouldn't

I am sorry. But, Brian -- HONEY -- pick your battles.

Amy :)

That is good to hear, Brian. Sometimes it just seems like you are picking on little stuff -- and we all need to lay back a bit and give these guys some room so that they can get v. 1.5 kicked in the a*s*s. You got no problem with me, Brian. Thanks for your very polite response. Amy

Crickey! The last thing I need is a browser telling me I've spelt my surname wrong. Think I'll give that a miss.

Crickey? Do you mean "Cricket", "Crick", "Rickey", "Crocker", "Cricked", "Cracker", "Crockery", or "Crock?"

Sorry, we have no "Crickey" in the spell check.

Another good reason to not use the spellchecker.

Thanks, Vimes. I will try to use "crickey" at least three times in normal conversation today so that I can commit it to my expanding vocabulary. Now, go take Brian out for a beer and tell him to not be so serious. I'll be he's a lot of fun -- would like to see more of that! Crickey, Brian, I hear good things are in your future! < that's once. > :)
