unable to vote for a component I like

I tried to vote for WebAmoeba Ticket System (http://www.webamoeba.co.uk) just now, as I think it's a wicked component, and the writer is extremely helpful.  I was unable to however.  It gave me the message:

You can only rate once for every Extension

I think what might have happened is on first trying to vote, it asked me to login.  After logging it, it must have registered me as voted even I clearly haven't(as no one has yet).

Can anyone look into this please?

Hi BadBoy,

Votes for the individual extension will only be listed when that extension has recieved at least 5 votes.
That is done to ensure a fair presentation.

When 5 users have voted for WebAmoeba then Votes will show indicated in Stars

I see.  That seems like a strange way of doing things.  How would I know if my vote has counted?

When you have voted you are redirected to the main view of the extension.
Above the header you will then see the text: "Your rating has been successfully added"
