Very nice theme, indeed!
P.S.: Have you released it back to the community?

As we wish to keep the uniqueness of our sites, the forum or the site template are not being made available to the community.

Re: New Theme is live!
Ok, i've made some more tweaks and fixes:
1) Fixed some issues with IE not showing 1px border around some boxes.
2) Fixed some padding issues with the category backgrounds
3) Fixed the ever-reducing font size issue with quotes
4) Fixed the horizontal scroll bar issue with 'code' blocks (btw, php is syntax highlited if you use tags.. very cool smf!)
5) Increased contrast a smidge on the footer, plus added some creds.
6) Sticky topics now are in a seperate area, with !! in front
Regarding the buttons, I played around with lots of combinations, white on darker grey, black on lighter grey, and in various combinations. I had one that was white on grey that used a darker grey but I felt like it overpowered the template. This was the comprimise I came up with.
Regarding the template and icons: This template will not be released (sorry) but it was built for Joomla and I would like to keep it unique. The icons are from Foood, and they are not 'free', check out foood's site for details on the license.

Great team! Realy love it...
Buttons like Reply, Notify, Mark as unread, send topic, print are here good readable with TFT. The footer text, on the contrary, is not good readable...

Awesome!
Nice SMF Theme!
Who did the SMF theme here? This is probably one of the nicest ones for SMF I have seen!
Re: Nice SMF Theme!
read on the bottom of page "design by rhuk" "icons by foood"

Re: Nice SMF Theme!
Saw that... but I didn't think rhuk did SMF templates.... thought he did the Joomla template, afterall he is from Jamboworks. As for the icons by Foood, if you visit the Foood website the icons shown are more of the style you'd see in a Mambo (and assume Joomla) admin control panel.
Re: Nice SMF Theme!
Well from my understanding rhuk does all kinds of webdesign not only Joomla related, and for foood, they produce a lot more icons than shown on their site and I think they do custom work as well.

Re: New Theme is live!
Very nice theme rhuk. Also too bad it wont be made public.
Re: New Theme is live!
I suppose "pretty please with sugar on top" won't work either?
This really is a gorgeous theme for SMF - I think you're gonna have everyone who uses SMF and sees this in tears.
Also rhuk - me and you are like best buds - you could just like... y'know, share it with your very best buddy in the whole wide world, couldn't ya?
Beautiful work.

Re: New Theme is live!
Well, and I am almost embarrassed to say this given all the accolades... I love the forum theme, though am having some real issues with dealing with not having as much definition/contrast as before (not helped by being tired these days) BUT - I just can't deal with the background.
For me, that shade of green always stands out in the foreground (and brings on nausea) - I actually love the colour, but can't deal with it on a monitor.
Because the colour is so "in your face" my experience with it is that when trying to read or write on the forum, I have to really battle to see past the green. It's enough of a usability issue that I can't use the forum for very long at all and have to really brace myself to come back on to respond to messages.
Sorry rhuk and joomla team, but thats how it affects me. As I say, the forum template is great - but with the background like that...
I did some research a while back on colours not to use on sites - wondering if I was just strange (no rude comments please!) but it appears that greens of various hues are really bad news for a lot of people. Not much fun when I have to be here for a thread I am on, and I am physically gagging the whole time.
Its times like this I wish I was colour-blind!

Re: New Theme is live!
The buttons to increase/decrease font size in the top are a bit small. If you are going to include functions like this to, for instance, help people who don't see too well, the buttons need to be bigger.
I was just working with these people who focus alot on accessibility, and an example surfaced there that was quite funny: A website had included buttons in their header that blind people could click at to have the contents of the website read to the. Admirable effort I say, but to the blind people it was useless since they could not see the buttons...

I like the new smileys... much better.
But this one doesn't belong in this series and is part of MSN Messenger.
Also there are two smileys...

Re: New Theme is live!
Great theme rhuk... I know its never going to get released to the Joomla! community but is there any chance of you designing a similar theme that complements the clean look of Joomla!. I've looked EVERYWHERE for a nice clean template for SMF but cant find anything that suites my Joomla installation. I'd even pay for it ( at a push )
Hope you can help.

I think you misunderstand lester. Its a Joomla! SMF template not a Joomla! template I'm after.
By the way my site is currentyl running Macphoria
(It will be announced soon)
