If Banning turks action increase we will stroke out and In turkey Joomla Lovers numbers are getting higher. But they can`t use facileforms component beacause of this.

We want u to stop banning turks.

^^wow
lots of emoticons
anyways
products that banning IP's should not be lısted in joomla.org's extensions website.

discrimination.....against people who want to make their site more secure....

im sure people would be more than happy to give you a copy of the extension if you asked :D
i would :)

But facileforms is banning all the IP's in TURKEY

facileforms is facileforms
Joomla! cannot force facileforms to stop blocking IP ranges

but he can not advertıse his product ın extensions websıte and BAN IPs ın the same tıme

Brad said:
We do not have a policy of removing websites from the extensions directory if they are blocking IP's.

so yea....
thats all im gonna say so that i dont get tangled up in this mess  :P

Main point: if you need a copy of the extension, ask and ill send you it :)

Mod note: none-english posts removed.

Guys, have you contacted Facileforms about this... get your 27000 users to protest there. Why don't you ask Facileforms to come up with a solution?

As a Joomla! Core Team member: http://www.joomla.org/content/view/30/ I am speaking for joomla.org Your protest is noted, but please do not threaten us, or try to force the issue. Our Extension site editors are already doing a great job. We are unpaid volunteers and this is an issue outside of our control.

Final warning, if this issue is not dropped publicly on these forums, we will use the rules of this forum to ban users who are just here to try to stir up trouble.

PLEASE talk to Facileforms, they are the people banning you not us.

Companies that blockİng any countries IP's,
SHOULD NOT BE LISTED IN EXTENSİONS WEBSITE..
facileforms is not offering their open source product to all joomla users..

He might ban IPs for his own web sıte.
that's understandible and his right...
DOWNLOADS İN EXTENSİON WEB SİTE SHOULD BE AVAİLABLE TO ALL JOOMLA USERS

Please contact Facileforms or your ISP. Joomla! is not discriminating, we list all sites in the extensions directory according to the rules: http://extensions.joomla.org/content/view/12/36/

I dıd check your rules. your rules says

Extension home and demo sites links must be to the site that is most relevant to the extension, links must not result in redirection to an alternative URL.

when I clıck to facileforms link, I get banned message..
so ıf we go by your rules, you must provıde me wıth a working lınk.,

Frankly Brad, I don't give a damn about facileforms ban.
But I do not want thıs useless idea spread to other extensions.

Your index finger vary close to DELETE key.
you mıght delete posts very easy, but you can't delete people's ideas ın their mınd.
joomla ıs belong to joomla users.. not to you.

by the way now I can connect to facıleforms sıte. ban ıs removed..

thanks to sensıtıve and honest joomla management team (excluding Brad.)

We have deleted the ip ranges a while ago. Like Brad said earlier, banning ip ranges is not something we are promoting. It should only be done in the case of emergencies. Brad's actions are the same as I would have done them. You are turning this into one big political statement. Seeing wrongdoing in every comma, point or whatever details furthers your own opinion. You had a disagreement with a 3PD developer, not with us. The good thing about a community project like Joomla is that we don't and shouldn't have to deal with politics or other matters which carry emotional luggage. In this way, your actions are only trying to divide and break the community.
