"Our baby Joomla! was born nearly 12-months ago, cut his teeth with our first release and now the toddler is gaining confidence," he quipped.

Johan - Joomla! is a GIRL! I think Brad made a type-o.

Cannot wait to meet you guys in person, get Joe his black leather jacket with a penguin on it (direct from SF, hmm), and did I hear BETA?

Yes, this will be very good. Very good indeed!

Amy :)

Blogging LinuxWorld SF 2006

Post by cozimek » Tue Aug 15, 2006 4:32 am

Hey everyone,

Just thought I'd let all know that I'm trying desperately, when we're not totally busy, to be blogging LinuxWorld SF 2006.

http://www.picnet.net/blog

Enjoy the mediocre reporting for now. Better reporting to come tomorrow when the event heats up!

Oh, and here's some photos too:

Best,
Ryan

Have fun in SF. Don't know what the public is like up there, but I always like the Dutch version of Linux World.

Close to wrapping up day 1 here. Lots and lots and lots of "you guys rock!" as people pass by. Lots of sore throats from a full team of five yapping from the booth here. More details at http://www.picnet.net/blog. More photos and videos coming soon.

As a S.F. native it was great to have you in the city-by-the-bay.

I went specifically to see Joomla and thought it was the best of the show, and it was great to meet the Joomlashack crew. What was interesting is that there was six guys in there busy hacking and hewing away at code while at the most of the other booths they were smooging and hyping their way too boring infrastructure stuff. Good job guys!

Were you guys selling those joomla shirts at the conference?

Maybe you can sell them on joomla.org or another site as a fundraiser?
