Hi,
I run a CMS board called Free Scripts Forum and I am looking for sponsors among different CMS projects. Wouldn't Joomla team like to support Joomla on my board somehow (linking etc.)? I would place a text like "This section is sponsored by Joomla" on my board for a backlink somewhere on Joomla site. I have a Joomla! review on the board too which could be linked too.
Look for joomla under Portals (CMS) > Advanced portals.

Probably the best way you can 'promote' your forum is by helping out around here. Each of your posts have your signature in them, so is a link back to your website. Keep in mind that participation is still bound by the rules.
