Hard to use

This "forge" thing is a little hard to use.

i can't find everything i want using the search, it's lacking categorization browsering... like mamboXchange and like original sourceforge.
also it has some usability problems... and the source forge logo confuses people.

This is one of the reasons we started http://extensions.joomla.org. There is catecorization there, and downloads will point to resources which can be available on Forge. Are you looking for something specific?

yes and no... i was trying to figure out what i would need to have similar features that my current website have (with phpnuke)...

i will give a try at extensions... i think it gonna work well
