Suggestion for security discussion

Post by FrankS » Mon Sep 04, 2006 4:00 pm

Hi all,

Around the (chaotic) register globals / emulation discussion and the problems with different components / mambots threads like http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/topic,86525.0.html are making me confuse.  ;)

I would like to suggest to create simple threads, one for each component, so nobody is lost in space and loses overview.

Just my 0,02 cents. ;)

Not much we can do here, we can moderate but there are limits to this. It is also hard to read if there are 50 threads with components, that's lots of space as well. People have the tendency to post in these threads anyway. The first thread on the register globals thread lists the extensions which do not work with it, websmurf updates this as well if new ones are found.
