FAQ: Latest News Module - Control What is Shown?

Also mr sir stingrey created what I call an overcustomized solution (we need more of these for mambo actually) here: http://www.stingrey.biz/content/view/88/54/ .

It's a display news module which simply has every option you could dream of when it comes to choosing in which way you want your news to appear (latest/random/alphabetical...and it goes way deeper than that). Check it out.

I am trying to get it so that ONLY the 'News' items show up under 'Latest News'. I do not want items that I have added to the FAQs to show up. How would I control this? I looked in parameters under this module, but it doesn't allow me this flexibility.
