I love that it's finally been released! great work everyone on getting it available so quickly! I downloaded the documentation earlier this morning before the release was available, but now i've got that too, i'm just wondering how to do a fresh install as there's no installation folder... :D

Congratulations, guys! The upgrade from M* went as smoothly as can be, even with several addons installed (components, modules, *bots). Plus I'd like to reinforce what was said earlier: it (at least the backend) does feel zippier than before. Thanks for all the hard work! Now go get some well deserved sleep;-)

Congratulations to the entire Core Team for a very good product !

I hope you guys are taking it easy for a day or two  ;) It must have been hectic getting the new infrastructure up and running, also the 1.0 release. Going to migrate in the next few days, love what I saw during the tests, so can't wait.

Congratulations and a hearty Thank You to everyone involved with the Joomla project. I installed Joomla, removed M_ _ _ _, reinstalled a few templates and the SMF...and it works perfectly. Just need to do some template tweaking for my own needs. You people have done a spectacular job. Although I am not a programmer, if I can be of assistance to the team in any way, please let me know.

Congrats to all the people who made this happen. Be it core devs, corporate sponsors, legal advice, 3pd's or just plain 'ol community members. How about a hand for the power of people working together?! Happy birthday Joomla! :D

Congratulations and many thanks to all involved.

You couldn't have timed it better - I spent most of last night setting up a fresh install of my test server so I would have a new platform on which to install the new CMS.  :)

Great reviews so far.

Can't wait to get stuck in.  I have it downloaded but unfortunately can't make a start till later.  :(

I'm looking for an online changelog, is there any? I want to point some of my contacts to this so they can know more about this new release.

there is a pretty bug in the modules-deinstaller. it seems, that the table name isn't the right one. it shows "table xxx_modulesn doesn't exist".

Code: Select all

. "n WHERE id IN ( $cids )"

and change it to
