Show us the screenshots!

Post by TheSaint » Sat Sep 17, 2005 8:45 am

Real quicky here folks:

Joomla's new look rocks. Nobody is debating that. There is only one small problem at the moment.

You have to install Joomla to see what it looks like! :D

It has been alluded to that a refreshing demo script is going to go live, but a few screenshots of both the front and back end would be complementary when you get the chance.

Some people are more visually oriented, let's give them all the eye candy they can muster.

All things in due time, we know the good people behind the scenes are busy on a thousand and one things. Keep up the great work. :)

You have already posted in threads where core devs have answered this question...
A demo is on the way. You have already seen us say that.

The best way anyone can help out on these forums is by helping answer questions in the 'General' forum. You can also get involved by helping out the doc team - see the Documentation Forum. Perhaps you can start a project on the forge?

Thanks again for the numerous reminders. We are working as fast as we can.

Paul - why not post the screenshots yourself? I'd like to see them before installing.

We wanted to see the changes to the admin UI of Joomla! for ourselves so we jumped into a new installation. In the process, we took some screenshots of the changes we noticed from $ambo 4.5.2.3 to Joomla! 1.0. Enjoy.

wow thanx gsbe, I haven't had a chance to convert just yet.  But, I was anxious to see the changes.  I'm very impressed with its overall appeal.  They did an excellent job!

I'm going to install it locally right now!
