Why news submited on Joomla.org Site is not published Topic is solved

I have tried to submit some news from JoomlArt.com 3 times but until now, none of my News submissions is published.

The news about is about JoomlArt Oct Template - JA Zibal template and I have make sure that the content and format of the news follow strictly with Jooma News Submit guidelines.

I feel quite strange when news from others are published on a regular basic.

Does anyone have the same situation?

About haft year ago, stingrey had one helped me with the same issues when the system did not recognize my submissions

Yes others will be experiencing this too.  As you are aware we are in the middle of a 1.5 Beta rollout and it's all hands on deck.  Apologies in advance for those who have not seen their news item published.

This will be addressed with some new resources thrown at News DOT J!, post the 12th of this month.

isn't  this a task for the pi/pr team.
it only used to take me 30 minutes a day to do and if its devided between a team it will be even less. everyone is busy so share the load

It is part of that team, I will try to help out as the list is rather long now. For the people new to it, it does take some time to find a good way to do it good and fast. Would be nice to have it clean before beta will be released.

Ok if your news got not published may be you think about if you have submitted a news that was complain to our rules.

We get toons of news with plenty of images in it - instead of the one we have defined in the beginning. Or we get additional information, you should have on your sites, but definitly not in a news post on our site.

Could be those are issues as well.

shouldn't those rejected submission getbsome sort of email explaining why? how else will they learn.

I have also experienced this situation where I submit news and it is never published, while others, probably posted after mine get published.

I am pretty sure that I am not including too many images (I always use ONE, no more, no less), nor are my content data spam or irrelevant. At least I am "glad" to know it is not only me who is experiencing it

Issues seem to be solved now, Tonie. Thank you very much.

I think that news publishing management will be much easier if you have a better tool than the current "com_submissions" which Joomla.org is using, I have developed a free News submit component and I can offer to customize this tool to meet Joomla Teams requirements.

Further to this  list , some good features can be added for this tool:

- Email alerts sent to Categories Moderators when there is a new submission submitted to the categories/sections that they manage. Options to have a Global Mod who will receive all submission alerts for information
- Actions for Mods: Approve and publish / Edit and publish / Deny with reason (admin can choose to enter reason why it is not published)
- News submitter will receive an email when their news is published
- Action reminder via email to Mod, Global Mod if there is no action for a submission after a certain time (Eg: 3 days...)

Just my little effort to help.

If there is a official request from Joomla.org managment team, I will be happy to work on this project for free.

I wish if anyone can pass this to people who are in charge.
