it's business.. I just deleted civicspace.  not that user friendly for me.  I can't hang with so many style sheets yet.

Glad you made the jump.  It will be more than worth it.  A few things though.

I don't recommend using 1.5 for production just yet as it is BETA.  I would stay with 1.0.11 at least until RC1 or RC2.  There are outstanding plates out there, I will give you the URL's if interested.

BTW, to those who felt the need to give long winded explanations of why we should not complain.... I have not seen any complaining here at all, just a bunch of happy kids eagerly awaiting the new toy!

Here it is still the 12th, and will be so for another 6 hours or so. And my feeling about this beta release is, they should release it the 12th. Firstly, because it is a beta, so we all are aware there are still many bugs in there to solve, and secondly, after first being announced for - if i remember well somewhere in march, and this time even with a fixed date, 12th of october 2006, the Joomla team can not hold back on releasing a beta 1.5 today. If they dont, i believe it will be a big bump in the credibility and faith we all have in the Joomla project. And, remember, it's just a beta, so release it today!
So, we also can see what has been achieved in one year of time, development away from Mambo to a fresh and new Joomla.
Therefor I really don't agree with the few posts above, telling to look at the bug tracker, and prefer to wait for a bug free beta. Nonsense, we want a beta, with all its bugs, because it's a beta!

Firsst download the file, then share it via torrent! By half an over the torrent will be popular, and evryone wil share, so we cloud get an exelent speed. But, who cares, let vaste joomlas bandwith, because n00bs probably wont take on by torrent.

Yes well the advantage of the demo cd is that you dont have to have a server to install it on and even if you do you dont need to worry about breaking it
