Forge combination of discussion/forum and mailinglist

A big compliment to the SFEE develoopers for the idea of combining a discussion board/forum together with a mailing list.

It took a while to figure out that it is needed to use excatly the same email address in the forge user and mail client, but after that it's working just perfect!

It makes live so much easier as it is now possible to follow the discussions either online or offline.

I think you heared lot of new suggestions and complains on the one hand - here is just a compliment!

Integration of a mailing list (probably mailman) and a forum.  Just checking out the options.

Then Forge is not your thing. Forge is a project developer environment that is being used to develop software. Integrating a forum can be done with Joomlaboard (native Joomla! install), SMF or PHPBB.
