Well I am a total Noob, I have spent about a week researching CMS and learing what it is and what it does. Joomla community is great and I have started to successfully installing comps...

I am the current webmaster for a 501-C Non-Profit Program as well, the United States Military Cadet Training Corps. We have been trying to find a way to keep up with cadet service records as there are other units in other states. It would be great if I can figure out a way to :

1. Allow the user to login to look at the information in THEIR Service and no one else's
2. Certain Unit Commanders be able to view only THEIR cadets in their unit's service record
3. Be able to add course completion certificates (images) to their record.

My main reason is to prevent relying only on the orginal Hard Copies and the risk of them being lost in transit from drill sites or by Mail etc. You guys have any suggestions?

I think the joomlearning guys have solved our online testing concerns.

If you want something like E-Learning site, than use Moodle !
Also, you can custom joomla for your need !
