New filters for items?

It would be fantastic if users could filter in a more granular approach by say seeking out only GPL or commercially licensed products. Another example might be to sort by number of reviews, date of reviews, average review score, number of downloads or other such parameters. Right now most of the searching by users is done in a browse mode, which isn't always the fastest method around. Also, if registered users could flag certain extensions as part of their "favorites" or "watch list" that would be fantastic. Likewise, if someone tries an extension and doesn't like it, it would be fantastic to set that entry to "ignore". Of course, these settings would be restricted to just that user account, not hampering public opinion of a particular entry. Any other thoughts on customization? Thanks for listening!

Thanks for taking the time to submit suggestions that could help improve the general user experience. User feedback is always welcomed and will be discussed. 

1. Filtering: By using the 'Advanced Search' feature you already have some of the filtering options you ask for.

You actually can search by License type, and by different Voting/Rating filters decided by you.

2. "Favorites" or "Watch List": We have taken notice of this interesting suggestion thats been made by several people recently. We are fully aware that this certainly could improve the feel and functionality. Hopefully something like this could be added in future as a new feature for the benefit of the users

1. Whoops, sorry for missing the existing filter options. I've been away from Joomla for a little while and didn't notice all the changes. Once again, my mistake on the redundant question.

2. Good to hear you might consider it for a future feature development. The Source Forge has excellent version control and tracking, it would be fantastic to get the extensions site with at least basic tracking.
