I am hoping that someone can help me.
I am designing a website with at most 10 links on it. Three of those links are password-protected, and that protection is removed once payment has been made. Basically, I am creating an online journal of sorts on the website, authors and others (libraries, corporations, individuals etc) will pay a fee for access to those links. Reviewers of content will not pay anything but will have their own username/pw to evaluate content submitted by authors.
My question is: How can I develop functionality in joomla to accept online payments which will trigger the "opening" of certain links?
If you can help me in any way, either by hand holding while I develop this website, or by suggesting resources, tips etc that would be great. I don't have the technical expertise of a programmer but I need to develop it and run it myself.
Thanks
Prakash

Re: Accepting online payments for a non-profit website
There are a few components that can help.
http://extensions.joomla.org/component/ ... Itemid,35/
http://www.mambobrothers.com/mambo/inde ... &Itemid=65
Personally, I haven't used either but I know a lot of people who have. Reviews are mixed and depend on what you need to do.

You should also take a look at

Yes, it costs money, but it will do exactly what you want right out of the box (and he'll even install it for you for free).
Best of luck.
