JED Changes

Post by unixboymd » Tue Nov 07, 2006 7:08 am

I'm not sure how I missed it since I'm at the JED almost every day. But the new layout / features look fantastic.

Thanks! Hopefully the new changes make it easier for everyone to discover extensions.

Great work Lee :D
The "Humor, Fun and Games" forum has  more than 2500 Posts, so why not build a "Humor, Fun and Games Working" Group?
.....
Malicious tongues say we have this WG right from the start, they call it core team :D

gurtly purty.

Just wondering though, two things. The order of extensions in categories seems to have changed. But I can't work out what it is based on. if you look at http://extensions.joomla.org/index.php? ... &Itemid=35

You can see it's not number of views, it's not name, it's not last updated... Ah just realised is it rating?

Secondly the rating bit, if I remember correctly, it only displays the rating if there are more than 5 votes. But it still displays the number of votes... So for any extension with less than 5 votes it looks like all the votes have been 0!!! perhaps a note should be displayed if there are less than 5 votes?

This is all explained in the blog posting!
