New Extensions Module / Extensions Newsletter

[Unlimited Dynamics]

Thanks to the Extension Admins who published the "New Extensions" module at the top of the page. It is now easier and serves as a reminder to check for new extensions. About the only other thing I could recommend, if fiesable, would be to create newletters that keeps members informed about new extensions as well as updates. I realize this would require more work, so I am offering up my assistance toward such an effort.

Hi Unlimited Dynamics,

When Lee updated Joomla! Extensions Directory (JED) with new features some days ago, he also changed the welcome page.
Now the users of JED have direct access to new extensions through the module, and easy access to the categories from entry page.
Agree, this works better 

Thanks for suggesting newsletters with updates and whats new on JED. Thats not a bad idea at all
