Suggestion:

Joomla! Compatibility issues:

I think it would be a great idea to make a list of 3rd party add-ons that are tested,
compatible and can be downloaded immediately. That mean no 'alpha or beta' releases.

Such a list should be display in the forum where it's well visible and accessable.
I believe that would tremendously be valuable for everyone to know.

I've notice a lot of people around here are squandering on the forum. 
Continuously asking questions to which 3rd party add-ons are working
and which are not working with Joomla!

And quite frequently,  if there are compatibility issues with 3rd party
add-ons and Joomla! We often scramble for answers and it's very frustrating.

We just need to know what are available and completely work
well with JoomLa!

We have plans for a directory of sorts.. however in the mean time.. the best place to look is http://developer.joomla.org :)
