Joomla Forum + Windows Live Mail Activation

Hi guys!

Couldn't figure out how to get hold of a moderator or someone in charge of this forum but just to let you know the activation code system doesn't work with Windows Live Mail.  I tried registering with my Windows Live Mail account to this forum but when I got the activation email it was empty.  Instead I have registered using another email account I have.

Windows Live Mail, what makes that different to other email services?

Most likly there HUGE investment into spam.

Might be because this happens on DNS Stuff

It isn't really a lot different to many other webmail services apart from the fact it is very 'Web 2.0'; for example right-click menus and the ability to drag and drop.

Windows Live Mail is the new free webmail service thats provided by Microsoft. It will eventually be replacing Hotmail.  Currently it is in Beta stage still but has already undergone multiple updates that are actually improving the service (in my opinion).

I experienced the same problem with Windows Live. I received the email but no body was visible even after I added Joomla to my address book.

Any suggestions on why/how this might be happening?

Do email notifications from the forum go thru?

Yes they do but are exactly the same with no body to them at all.  I could only identify things through the subject box and email address.

What about other forums using SMF??? anyone tested this out? Could this be an SMF issue?
